S&S vs. TP Rocker Boxes

Ok, will the S&S rocker boxes on a 06 or 07 117inch fit on my 05, 117" which has the TP rocker boxes?

Most definitely not the T.P.' s have a 4 bolt pattern and the s&s have a 6 bolt pattern.You all know better than that.

Ha ha, T.Byrd the T&P rockers are two piece. The base unit has the standard S&S bolt pattern then the 4 bolt cover goes on it.
The S&S covers have the standard S&S bolt pattern.

Thanks for the pictures Ray. I am looking to replace everything from the heads up.

I put on the G carb but noticed some popping while riding home, well it was 16 degrees and there was some snow on the ground. But after reading some posts I'm wondering if I have the right jets, think I got the .295 x .076. Should I go to the .32 for the intermediate and leave the main alone? Think I may be too lean

wait till it gets warmer to re jet unless your gonna ride a lot at that temp. :loony: :D

The G carb that I bought thru BD came labeled on the box as "emission carb
.295 and .74 main. I had the mean mothers on the bike and when the dealer put it on he installed .031 intermediate and .78 main. Bike ran fine. You might want to look at your plugs to.

Yea there is a company here locally called Star Racing. Pretty big on the track and I think I will let them do some work on my heads and will probably let them dyno tune to get everything in sync. Don't know yet if I am really interested in alot of hp so much as I am reliability. Anyway I'm in the concept stage right now and gathering parts.
