Blitz... can you post up some pics of this air cleaner? I was thinking of doing the swap myself and had already priced it out the S&S TearDrop (Desparado). Some side, front, top shots would be great...

Good enough Blitz. I was thinking about getting one to dump the BD logo cover. But wanted a better look at it. Does it have the brushed look to the outside end where its labeled?

Dam Blitz that is a good looking ride.......
I know what you mean about not touching anything....
I had the solid S&S tear drop on my last Mastiff and it performed great.
If I had it to do all over again I would go with it again.

No, it's the standard Tear Drop with Slots cut into it, Solid Chrome all around, Nice piece, a little pricey for what it is, But from people who know, it's probably the best/most practical intake for a Super "G".
Yeah I think that will be a soon order. Just need to get the cash up. Its pricey for what it is. But like AlHall said... there's a lot of R&D on that simple air cover. Right down to the funnel/inverted spike in the middle. Thanks for your pics.

Thats one of the first things I changed was to a S&S tear drop cleaner. Ebay for $35.00 like brand new.

Hmm,
I actually went the other way. Had the S&S teardrop and went to the BD style. Didn't notice any change in performance at all. Plugs looked identical and no tweaking of air/fuel ratio was required.

Your results may vary...:D

Put the Ness stack with filter on mine. Works well after rejetting. Ran too lean from the BR jet upgrade package.
