maybe see if Triple X will buy it, I think they like to round them up so they can mod them and do the exchange...

Just got $200- for my Super E on Ebay. So if anyone has changed theirs out and got the old E laying on the bench, might be a good time to pawn it. I had 35 watchers and I even spelled Super wrong in the title. Spelled it Suber which may be spelled correctly according to all the watchers I had in Biker talk.:D

G is Bigger for bigger motors "displacement" to much carb is not a good thing ....as too little of a carb is as well . E is a good carb if set up correctly !! but these carbs E and G ...old tech ,, good but old !

I went to the G after bumping up the cam and removing the restrictor plates. Haven't had the opportunity because of the snow to try her out yet.

What is the difference between the E and the G carb. I have the E. Is that good??
only difference is venturi size. the bigger it is the slower the air flow (not so good for low-mid range torque / driveability) but it can get more air in for top end power. Which one you need depends on how you like to ride.

Thanks for the info! I plan to upgrade the motor maybe next winter and I see alot of you running the xxx g with bigger cam. My bike runs great as is but I always want more power when I nail it. I have a buddy thats got a 124 on his Iron Horse and it would be nice to flip him off as I pass him:roll:
