This is what someone did to my bike and sold it that way, I noticed a slow leak after a few months and then it got worse, kinda chicken shit selling it like that, :disappointed: so prolly a good thing to look for when your buying a bike would be silicone on the outside of the base gaskets.:old2:

Well..i can see a use for using a little black RTV if your away from home on a run or something.

That spray Cooper Gasket stuff really isn't made for it, I realize it didn't work all too well for you but I imagine it wouldn't last too long either. It's really just a copper gasket sealant used to spray on new gaskets when you first install them in and it's just to provide an additional layer of high temperature resistancy and help heat transfer across the gasket surface. Ive used it before and I have some here. I use it on exhaust manifold gaskets on cars.

What I'm saying here is skip the copper and use black RTV in a pinch.

thanks for all the comments ... agree with you all! That's why in the video I think I emphasize that these three times that this is a temporary fix. Sometimes you're away from home, just can't find the time of work and family, or not everybody has an extra five $600 to get it done right. So, this could get you by without any oil leaking till you can get it together.

Just today did 50/60 mile ride today, and not a drop of oil!
