I already got it in. Spent Tuesday afternoon doing it.
The How To's on 585 installation were great.
The How to on setting the lifters was ok, not great but helped.
The bike has more torque for sure. It was dark when I got done, and I don't see that great at night. I took it easy 1 and 2nd. As I hit third, I figured it was safe to twist the throttle hard... nope, it got squirrely as soon as I gave it power (fishtailed). Anyway, I am happy and highly recommend this.
p.s. I have V&H 2 into 1's. I did NOT have to take the exhaust off, just loosened the front heat shield.
If you do this, make sure you get the right cover gasket. I went to Iron Lightning and they apparently have no way to look up parts. (I guess they used a web app hosted by BDM). They ended up giving me the wrong gasket. I later went to the Harley dealer and got the right one. Probably my last trip to Iron Lightning.
