RUNNING WEIRD

Hey guys im down at myrtle beach and the dog ran great down here but when i got in traffic and had to stop and go my bike started to idol low and then cut off... I wasnt sitting in one spot for a while so i dont think heat was an issue maybe the carb is loading up but unsure any insight....

Sounds like your idle mixture needs to be fattened up. Turn a little to the left and this should fix it. If not, BDM has 2 of their techs at Xtreme customs set up at Barefoot landing and they'll fix it plus do all of any recall work for ya. Had mine done on friday and those guys are great!!!!!!!!!!!!

On top of the carb, it is the brass screw to the left. Right is lean and left is richer. Here's a link to easy S&S carb tuning. S&S Super Carburetor Adjustments

I wouldn't jump to the idle mixture first. If it's running lean, it will most likely be popping through the carb.

Wouldn't hurt to make sure it's adjusted correctly but, there are so many variables. Hell, what you describe could be a stuck/sticking float, bad gasoline, clogging fuel filter, etc.

it is popping through the carb but it seems everybodys popping so what the hell blow it out and let it run......

If its poping out the carb and at the same time the power of the bike goes away during the pop. Most likely the int jet needs to go up one size.
