Running lights front and rear??

Anyone running front and rear running lights? My factory blinkers were removed when i got my bike, i bought a set of led turn signals front and rear, they have a separate wire for running lights, i ran a wire right from my ignition switch through a fuse to front and rear, but when i put my dash piece back on the bike and hook up the instrument cluster my front running lights shut off. I guess im not understanding what the cluster has to do with it since im pulling power from the key switch. Its a thunderheart ehc if that matters.

My 2000 Vintage Sport doesn’t have any signals/running lights either. Hope you get it sorted out! :chopper:

I don't know if this applies to your bike but on a 2007 K9 it specifically says not to add any switched accessory to your ignition switch. Page 8-18 and 8-19 will give you the info.
