I'm not sure abotu the adpater... I know there is one for the 2004s.

You don't have any aftermarket lights on the bike do you? This has been known to cause problems that are fixed by going bk to stock.

Nope, No after market anything. Kind of wish it was something like that. At least I would know it was something that I DID.

Funny how it just started acting up all on its own. Never a problem ever before, with anything.

Choppers, Shovelcowboy has a 04 EHC for sale over in the swap meet section I think all the original 04's have the same part number 1 BDM170-00093 ya might give em a shout ..Dave.

It was the "EHC":bang:

Replaced it this afternoon and she fired right up and ran like a champ:2thumbs:

Thanks to all of you that offered some insight and especially to :

"GASMAN" for not only helping out, but teaching me about my bike with great patience and especially the great photo's that make it so easy to locate things that I would have never found on my own....... And to "ZZCHOP" for giving me the "Heads-Up" on locating a "EHC" right here at the "Swap-Meet"
And last but not least the "SHOVELCOWBOY" for not only offering what he had for sale to me, but took the time to take several photo's of he "EHC" to make sure it was what I needed.

This is what makes this Site the Best Around:cheers: . We might be a big beautiful country away from each other, but after my experience with my problem, I have never felt more proud to call everyone a TRUE FRIEND that lives a computer screen away.
