RT & DT ?

I need a little insight to what that means..... a chopper dt and a chopper rt? Diffrent size ???? And the K9 and Chopper sizes??

Is there away to tell? on the frame some were?

My RT frame has rolling thunder stamped on it under the tank. Look on the right side, where the v section comes down under the tank. Mine is stamep right there. I have a 2003 chopper RT frame.

Its also in your vin number. the 5th Letter from the left. T is DT - N- is RT

EXAMPLE - 1B91TBH142

You guys with the 03 choppers did you have your dealer check for the frame to be cracked or broke under the tank. They had a advisory on this and a lot of them had to have the frame changed. My son BYRDDOGG had one that had to be changed out because the frame was broke. Just letting you know you might want to check it if you still have an 03 frame. His was an RT frame.

Bought my 03 Chopper October last year...checked the VIN to make sure there were no recalls, like frame crack, tank leaks, etc....did a pre-ride inspection last week and found a crack in the frame neck...took the bike up to R&B in Goodletsville, TN and had it confirmed...definitely a crack...gonna have them just weld up the original frame as it will be stronger than replacement with new frame...glad I caught it before I got caught by it....more to follow
