Ok maybe I am stupid but I just got my 03 delivered today. It has an open primary and when you put the kickstand up it goes under the primary and I had to use my hand to put it back down, lol. Is there a trick to it?

Replace it with the newer model kickstand that mounts on the swing-arm part of the frame. I did it on my 03.
