I beg to differ. 4 different harley families and I did not use locker but to the tans plate to the frame. They were well abused with zero leaks. Everything else was a dry install, meaning, gasket sealer or locker, sans the engine case with harley case sealer. And yes, I oiled my head bolts. I am so glad I work on my own bikes and not contaminate the engine cavity with the latest crap an archimedes screw can't handle.... you do not get the harmonics through the bike like you would with these "American" style V-twins. The same goes for automotive.

Why yes, they certainly are. With blue locktite.:up:...... How about those primary cover bolts, are they lock-tited?......
