Eh everyone. Left Winnipeg on June 3rd at 3 A.M. for Kalamazoo Michigan with the dog in the trailer. Got about 30 miles from home and stopped to check on the bike. Opened the door and found the dog leaning against the wall. The welds on the wheel chock broke. Never would have thought this could happen. Moved bike over into the other chock and continued on. No damage to the bike. Must of just caught it in time. Arrived same day at 11 P.M. Did some riding here on Friday and it started raining on Saturday.Drove into Detroit Saturday night and caught a flight to Los Angelos. Rented Harley's there for Sunday. (3 of us) Toured Pacific Coast highway and Dexter Road. Dexter is all curves. Never got past 3rd gear. Stopped at the Rock Store for afternoon lunch. Drove into L.A. and parked on Rodeo Drive. Walked around and checked out the sights. Tried to get a flight out that night but was full. Monday took a bus to Bartell's Harley shop but it was closed. Walked down to Venice Beach and San Monica pier. Spent the day there. Caught a redeye flight out that night back to Detroit. Arrived back in Kalamazoo about 7 A.M. Went to a bike night in Richland last night. Was a couple of hundred bikes there. Met a guy form the Netherlands who is now living in Michigan with a 06 Mastiff. Really nice bike. It is all chromed up. He wants to sell it and buy a new Wolf. Going to head into Chicago today to pick up a 2000 Fatboy that my cousin just purchased. Supposed to rain the next 3 days. I hope it clears up by Sunday because we have a ride planned with about 35 bikes to Grand Rapids taking all country roads. Everyone here is complaing about how rough the roads are. There roughest roads are better than my best roads in Canada. Monday morning i'm packing up and leaving for home. Take care everyone. Later.
