What does the little grey box in the rip kit plug into?

Figured it out. Called curtis. That's an awesome guy. Looks like I need to make some orders and spend some money at his place.

Well what is? The extra momentary switching?

Although it looks like a piece I have on my Gen1 that had shrink wrap around it and no connections. I assumed it was for fuel injection or something. I just tucked it away, but it was also plugged into the harness as well.

Yep. Went riding in the hill country. Spent the night woke up the next day cold as all get out. Went to turn it on to head home and she went off like a damn fire truck. All the lights flashing horn going crazy, trying to start on her own. It was possessed lol. So walked to have breakfast then to a bar to have some drinks and figure out how to get it home. Couple of hours passed temp warmed up outside. Went back to the bike and she started right up like nothing happened. Lol. Time for a rip kit.

I went with the RIP II kit.
