I was at a car show one time.
A guy I know well has a Plymouth Superbird.
We were just hanging out near the car when we overheard two obnoxious guys pointing at stuff under the hood and making comments.
Not normal comments, stupid ones. Like they were trying to impress others around with their superior intellect. I restore mopars for a living and knew they were talking out of their a**es. I told my friend I would go educate them.
He did something that stuck with me.
He said no, I got this.
He went up to the two know it alls and said,"where is your 1970 superbird?"
"I need to see how to make mine right."
They said they didn't have one.
He then said ,"if you want me to educate you about them I would be glad to help you"
They had nothing else to say.
I could not have said anything better.
To argue with them would have only Proved useless.

Sorry for typos. Dam phone keyboard. ;)

HAHAHA!!! Thanks All, you guys have said it all and made me feel a lot better. He really does try to make people think he is smart, he repeats everything all the time and I have now heard it over and over again. I will just smile and say yep. I road the longest ride I have so far yesterday and went 250 miles round trip without any issues and I have at least a gallon left from the half way point. When i was in Big Bear some guy walked by with a bunch of people saying how awful that bike would be to ride, I had to say something. I asked him, how is that? He said it looks like it is all. I just told him that it was like riding a rolling couch with the way I sit and I just got her after riding over 100 miles and I didn't break a sweat. He just said, Oh, I didn't know. I am getting people just talk out of their asses because they can't have one and want to make up a reason why they don't.

Ride your chopper! , ignore your neighbor, and live life!! I have 24,000+ miles , took a 4200 mile road trip last year on my Mastiff and enjoyed every minute of it! Plan to take several trips this year, whether you ride 2 miles or 2000 miles, enjoy your chopper!
