What pressure do you run in your back tire? I'm told some folks ride two up with only 25 lbs.
I ride a Ridgeback (solo) and greatly benefited from a LaPera seat.

I got an 08 Pitbull and love the hard tail. I wasnt sure at first but I love it. You do have to really watch your shit for potholes and bumps though. When I bought mine the dealer said to run the back tire at 25psi. I always keep it at 30 and probably wont go lower. I like it being a rough ride because it keeps the wife at home. That is one reason to keep the seat hard as hell

My 05 Ridgeback ride doesnt bother us at all..Just have to watch out for potholes or bumps in the road..Since the Bike has the 300 rear tire and the length of the bike is over 9 Ft. the frame seems to flex enough that you dont pay any attention to any type of rough ride..My main reason for the Rigid was the look of the rear fender being right off the tire..I like how it looks..Everyone has their own opinion and this is mine..Hardtails look better....PERIOD....

Without getting into the whole rigid vs softail thing, my OL swears that the 2up seat and sissy bar really help on longer trips. We did about 300 miles last Saturday and she was a little stiff but much better than she did on the stick on p-pad. If you want to play with the idea of gel or air for her you can find small pads of both at places like medical supply stores for her to try out. That way when you do get your seat redone you know what to add. Everyone I have talked to likes the gel insert so far. Just my $.02 worth.

The 2-up seat has a wider passenger seat than the pilion seat. The wife likes the 2-up a little better but it still causes some pain after about 50 miles even with the 18" sissybar.
