I had Hayabusa before I switched to choppers. Currently own an 08 Ridgeback. I live in the midwest where the roads a crap and bumpy after the winter. Thus my ride on the hardtail is rough, and painful for my back.

Over the winter I put about 500miles on Ridgeback riding Miami to Key west on florida's smooth roads - no issues and no pain for the back.

My advise, if u leave in the south with good roads around, then go for Ridgeback. Otherwise K9 will be a good fit.

If I would be buying a bike at this time, I would choose K9 because it will feel comfortable on any road.

Yeah the k9 is probaly the best choice I do alot of riding on the weekend and arkansas roads are very different and most are not good I think the k9 and ridgeback both look good so I'm leaning towards k9 again. I'm actually going to look at a new one at Rodney's cycle in little rock Saturday.

I live in the midwest as well and the roads are terrible right now. I prefered the Ridgeback after I test rode both the K9 and the RB. Tim @ Gateway BigDog took me through an industrial area that was quite rough to show that the RB was still compliant on the rough stuff...

I just kinda figured that the rb is alot stiffer than the k9 is there anything else that people are liking about the rb other than fender space we've already talked about that not much difference in my mind . Sorry for all the debate but I'm trying to make a good decision and I don't have Anywhere to test ride these bikes. Definitly thanks for everybody's input.
