Funny, my first weekend in Pensacola I went to a HD dealership and some guy just sitting around (works there) asks, "you have a Big Dog or just the shirt?" I said I have both and I start to tell him about it and I can see his eyes just sort of glazed over so I asked what do you ride? (in a very non confrontational way)

Come to find out he didn't even ride. He manages the clothing section....:job:

I could hear my wife yelling over from across the showroom.....WEAK!!:D :D :D

Can't take her anywhere....:lol:

Weird as hell bro! I lived on 71st and Garnet for 4 years, if I ran into ya there we'd have gone over the the BWW next door for some wings and beer! I have seen a few guys around town that I'm sure aren't on the board that I've tried to catch up to and talk to but I always seem to be in my cage when I see them...oh well, soon enough!

I am going to the AVMC rally in Enid with my club. I will be gone camping all weekend. Otherwise I would go with you.

I was pissed that I missed out on the titty bar Tuesday. Don't give up on me, it's just circimstances.

His only response was "It's a show bike" WTF?? I love my Ridgeback, love to talk to folks about it and my only complaint about that motorcycle is I can't wipe the smile of my stupid face when I ride it. That sounds like it was a very weird conversation.

people in general are just plain ole weird....i have a friend who upon purchasing a brand new harley from the floor of the local dealership spent his weekends goin to shows and waxin and adding store bought chrome only to think he had the most phenominal bike in the world,and when it boiled down to it i wouldnt know it from the other million black streetglides next or around it as i passed them by while riding hundreds of miles every weekend having fun and discovering the world.....however if one word was mentioned about his SHOW BIKE he'd would make me pull up a seat ,sit down and i would have to listen to him and his vision for hours...and on top of it hes a very nice pleasant guy...sounds as though your guy was a dick and the mere fact that you are a fellow BIG DOG owner there was no way for him to feel superiority over you with his big flashy chrome bike so he probally needed to get home quickly so he could beat up his wife and kids...........
