REVS Indicator...

I´ve got a couple questions..

1. My tach is showing half of the revs it should, it stops flashing at (from ear) its around 2500-3000 revs) It has to do something with new Ignition Module, right? I can´t find it now.

2. Fully warmed up and at Idle my oil gage is showing 15 PSI (before I changed its location and installed the oil coolers was 10 PSI or less) Its that ok?

on the oil pressure, do you have the same amount of gain at highway speeds, ie another 5 pounds? Seems like it could happen with a longer run on the hoses. Curious to find out.

No, or at least I didn't have mine running when I changed it. Just change the setting as per the instructions 1 change to 0 if 0 change to 1. :2thumbs:

Same problem I had
Are you using a serial port or are you using a USB to serial adapter?
There must be 12volts to the module on order to establish a link.

The first prob I had was I had to buy a cable at Radio Shack to make the correct hook up. Then i had the same prob with the RPM's. I was turning on the key and it would not save the change. Someone on here reminded me that I had to turn on the key and press the run button, then I made the changes with the computer. Apparently the igniton was not getting the right signal and would not save the change with just the key on. But did not have to "start" the bike to make changes. Just key on and press the run button up on the controls.
