Reverse thread nut?

Curious if the nut for the gear is reverse , I’m needing to change out some leaking seals on my transmission but can’t get the primary plate off . This nut just won’t budge any ideas ?

It may have red locktite on it. Try warming it up a little to break the bond of the locktite. Be careful with what you do with that because the next issue you will have is a transmission shaft with no threads. Not good. Good luck!

Tried that just now Still no luck figured my 1/2 m18 Milwaukee battery impact would get it might just have to get a better impact on it .

When I do work on the pulleys I always have them both on and connected (belt/chain) and use a tool to lock them from moving then use the impact if appropriate (avoid using impact gun on engine pulley as you can cause damage to the magnents in the stator so I have been told.)
