I know very little about this motors. It's the 125'' not a 124''. I know it's not a S&S but I am looking to put one maybe in my Ultra Classic for $2800.00 plus my pull out evo motor. They want $4000.00 comes with a 2 year warranty / 12,000 miles. I mean, crap I'm looking at $1400.00 worth of head work to pull 10 more HP that would give me a total of 70. This beast has 115 hp & the primary input. I will loose my cruise control since I will have to go from fuel injection to a Mikuni carb.

Lets see, RevTec (Korean made) vs S&S (i.e. Kia vs Corvette). Rev Tecs have always been crappy cheap engines. You see them mainly used by builders taking a shortcut for re-sale. You don't buy one with the intention of keeping it and with their established track record and the price of bikes going down, no one is buying bikes with them. If you need to save money Ultimas have a slightly better track record. Problem is, if you are keeping the bike you are looking with reliability problems, and if you intend to sell it down the line, re-sale is tough and no one is going to pay you S&S money. It just doesn't make sense either way.

I just like my Freedom
Assembled in the US.... makes me laugh. They may have bumped up their game some.....
Cessna now has an assembled in America Skycatcher. Problem is, is that its made in China, disassembled packed and shipped and then reassembled in the US. I wonder how much of the RevTec is the same??? I'm not gonna plop down my cash till they can prove themselves as reliable as the S&S.
Just my two cents...

check the assembly date... the 2009 motors came with bad pistons...meaning the forged alloy was not to specification... my buddies 124" froze the top end and wiped it out... pistons expanded 10 miles from home and seized .... other than that the motor runs strong since the rebuild
