Does anyone have a how to on replacing the rocker box gasket? The back one is really close to the frame. I hope I don't have to pull the engine to get to it. :D

I had to do mine on 06 K9 over the winter, was leaking on left end of back cyl. just below rocker box. not sure if yours is same but mine I could do on bike without removing engine, If you check the how do section it is there. count down about 31 or 32 subjects from top of how to section.

That's exactly where mine is leaking ... back cylinder left side. I'll check the how to's and see if there's information there ... thanks ... :D

You can do them both without pulling the engine. Ball end allen wrenches help! Clean both mating surfaces with brake cleaner and use fine scotchbrite to get any shit that might be stuck on them.

Couldn't do it ... on an 05 Ridgeback the back left bolt is too close to the frame ... it will unthread but can't get the bolt out ... just a little too long ... had the other 3 bolts out and couldn't maneuver the cover to get the bolt out  ... need to cut the bolt head off and shorten a new one to fit .... that's better than having to pull the engine or cut the frame ... or just live with the leak. I guess when old age creeps up we all will leak and probably won't care ...... :loony:  :spank: :2thumbs:
