Replacing Rear Tire, Shinko Backordered

Ended up getting a decent size hole in my rear tire but thankfully it happened right before I pulled into my driveway. Threw some wood under the frame so it didnt tip after the tire went flat. Was planning on buying a 300 Shinko, found one for $268, but was back ordered. Shinko said mid July. Prices increased everywhere to $358 for Shinko and still on backorder, Shinko said this morning mid to late November.
I am going to just pay the extra bit for an Avon, $448 from Summit Racing. Anyone else know of any better deals? Also what is the best currently available jack that will fit under an 06 Ridgeback?

Same here, I have been waiting all year, emailing Shinko distributer. It keeps getting delayed. I’m down to threads so bit the bullet and got the Avon. $450 is about best you can find.

i put a Shinko on my 09 bagger and it only lasted 2,500 miles, also I'm very diligent about running the proper air pressure. So never again for me on the Shinko front. I replaced them with Metzelers and am very happy with them.

Avons are good, soft, nice grip.
These will last longer: Metzeler ME 888 Marathon Ultra 300/35 VR18 87V
Look nice on a bike. Over here they cost USD 441.

I got a bike lifter off time for $115 nz so something like $70 usd it lifts the mastif no worries

Looks like a pancake jack. You can stick a socket on it and use with a power tool.

I've had multiple Avons and every one of them split horizontally edge to edge. There's at least one discussion on here about it.
I met a guy years ago had a 240 with a tube in it. He was happy with it.
