Replacing rear bearings

I have my rear wheel removed (2006 K-9) for a tire. I did not like the feel of my bearings and removed the drive pulley, Before I continue is there a way to remove/replace the three bearings with out removing the hubs? .

Yes and no. It's easier and safer to just unbolt the hubs, just 5 bolts! Easy Peezy.

Otherwise you have to have a bearing puller and you'll end up doing more damage and it will take longer with it all together than pressing them out from the inside.
