Replacing Polished Aluminum Parts for Chrome and need info

You can tell that the chrome is thicker too, it literally looks beefier and richer in the pics. So you're saying just don't do the rotors but everything else is fine to reassemble with it being a bit thicker?

Yeah basically a lot of the chrome on these bikes were just flash coated as to why they peel and chip so easy, I would just buy the rotors next time unless u are confident in ur mechinist skills with a burr bit and drill.. but it's a huge difference from stock.its well worth it and I'd recommend it to anyone over just buying new if u have the patience and time after to machine em back to where they need to be20170430_163217.jpg 20170501_160419.jpg 20170501_192010.jpg

All I have to say is that riding with a guy who's k9 was chrome everywhere mine was polished aluminum plus some, and seeing how clean his came out of the car wash while we were doing my starter really made me realize that chrome is the way to go.. who knows it might last a few years or ten as mine did, but damnit u can't ever get the kind of shine from polished aluminum that u can from chrome. A place in the east somewhere does wheels and that's my next stop. These guys don't do wheels. But another place that a few of us use called atlas does and they r local for me so I might give em a shot...
