Removing turn signals

I am assuming the signals are stock.Everybody has billet signals with the brake light built in correct?If they are original manufacture equipment they should pass inspection; otherwise, what's the alternative, Big Dogs aren't legal for sale in Delaware?

Bullet style yes, look in the gallery or most any Big Dog;
Big Dogs are legal for sale in all states of the US as far as I am aware; many states require safety inspections (likely similar/same to yours), states do not pass laws which would affect previously built model yr vehicles (generally) [I don't 'need' side marker lights on a 67 Camaro]
Generally speaking; your bike should reasonably require the OEM safety devices to be intact and operable. Joe Dickhead at inspection station can't fail you because he doesn't own your bike. Otherwise, I'd fail you every time you came in for inspection, until you sold me your bike for $1000. - cause I am a dick like that....
For the record, I too hate Delaware; never lived there; but they charged me too much money to drive through that state and so I generally write the entire state off as a bunch of yuppie mfr's bastards with no balls - right or wrong - dunno, don't care....

Did I miss something here? :loony:How did we get on inspections? A picture would help but assuming that your lights are similar to my wife's '03 Mastiff (and they may not be), you should be able to pop off the lense, pull the light assembly out, disconnect the wires to the lights inside the housing and screw the light off. The Pitbull may be a little different since there is less clearance between the tire and fender. On the Mastiff, you can also cut the wire under the fender and remove the nut that holds the light assembly on.
