Removing downtube sticker...

Just curious about the best way to remove the down tube sticker and also what product to use to remove the sticker resin safely.

use a hair dryer to start with. peel it slowly and if there is any residue left, try goo-gone. that should take care of it. before you peel them off, does your state have an inspection program, if so do they require the stickers to be on the bike. if they do, you can put them under the seat on the rear fender out of sight.

I just peeled mine off real slow and put the sticker in the owners manual. As for the residue I used WD40 to get it off. Worked good for me.

Dental floss is the secret. Wraps around the tube and you pull it down as you peel the sticker. Clean up the glue with some WD-40 and a soft cloth. Mild soap and water to remove the WD-40 residue. :2thumbs:
