Rekluse Auto Clutch

Hi,
I have an 03' Pitbull and would like to put a Rekluse auto clutch in it. Has anyone on here been able to do that and if so was you able to use the stock clutch basket?

Couple of months ago I installed the current offering of a rekluse on a dirt bike. I removed an old design of a rekluse from the same bike. The older one was bulletproof, and this one should work the same. This dirt bike basket was a little more involved salvaging the OEM ring gear off it. So I doubt you'll jump thru hoops with just the special clutch and pressure plate? I didn't ride it-I let the owner of the shop test it and he lit up the back wheel on pavement. I doubt you could do that with the clutch all stock vs. the clock. That's their claim about having "more torque"... (cough).. actually they might I mean the same torque but only locks up sooner is all... not more torque-wink-wink! Cam/bore/tune/head increases torque, not a faster acting clutch pack, right?

I have no stick in the fire so I would not hez installing one. USA made great again..

Thanks for the replay Sven, my issue is I am not sure it the clutch basket is the same as the H-D unit. I talked with Chris over at Big Dog and he says the clutches are not the same as H-D. That they were set with a specific fitment for Big Dogs. But that still doesn't tell me if you can fit the H-D unit from Rekluse in it.

Your other choice is the EFM autoClutch -- there are several people on the forum that have them (with varying results).
