Reduced Effort clutch ramps

2003 Chopper. I just installed the HD Reduced Effort Ramps.
And Barnett Clutch cable. The pull is great, probably reduced
the pull by half. But when I put it in gear (not running yet)
and pull the clutch lever it dosen't feel like it is disengaging
the clutch. Wondering if the ramps don't have enough throw
or if the plates are stuck from sitting.

Most of the bikes I have had are tough to get into gear when they are not running. I think you what you are experiencing is normal . Some one else may have some technical info for you .
