Rectangular gear teeth? .. for the greenlight?!!

Hey fellas.... Still can't get this ridiculous clutch slippage under control. Noticed that my furthest gear/flywheel back has rectangular teeth??? The one that the starter hits. Those are supposed to be like that correct?... Or are they supposed to be pointed??!

I don't know which bike you have but this is from an 07 clutch and primary Rt side drive. Hopefully it will answer your question.
