I haven't been able to ride for the past 5 months due to shoulder surgery. During that time I have stopped in a few local Harley shops....questioning whether I would be better off on an Ultra or some other touring bike....but just really killing time.

Well yesterday I decided The Dog need to be started and at least idled/warmed up. After warming up, something came over me, because I said " self.....a little putt around the block can't hurt" Shoulder felt pretty good. A little pain, but nothing unbearable. Around the block turned into about 5 miles :whoop: I was grinning from ear to ear. I'M BACK....NOT ALL THE WAY....BUT I'M BACK. I'm going to do a few miles a week until I'm 100%. It's a start :2thumbs: Blue Ridge here I come baby.

On top of all this....slap me in the back of the head for even thinking the Dog isn't my ride. Throwing my leg over the Chop was a reunion with an old friend.

Thats great news Coach. Before you know it you will be putting on hundreds of miles a day, not just 5.
