Recent USPS Shipment Delay's

From all of us @ HDM we want to give all our customer's a BIG THANK YOU who made purchases during the cold snap that took over the country in mid-February.

We received lots of calls/emails/messages about delays & we understand the frustration. We were just as frustrated, if not more as this was unprecedented. Even looking back over this past holiday season the weather caused significantly more delay's than the holiday.

Everything on our end was processed as what you have all come to expect. Same-day or next-day depending on the time of purchase if it made the shipment cut-off.

The USPS sent out multiple advisories over that period about delay's & suspended their delivery guarantees across the board. Obviously nothing we can really do unfortunately. Here was their below statement:
“The national transportation network has been severely disrupted by the multiple winter weather events across the country. The situation has affected USPS transportation and processing capabilities. Therefore, according to the Domestic Mail Manual Section 604.9.5.5 Priority Mail Express money-back guarantee is suspended nationwide as of Friday, February 19, 2021 through Thursday, February 25, 2021.”
It impacted everyone, & unfortunately some items took over 3 weeks for people to receive. For some folks obviously time is of the essence, especially as some of you were/are getting ready for Daytona. For those customer's that had a deadline for whatever reason we went ahead and shipped another out to many, we noticed a lot of those later shipments arrived sooner than the package that was shipped out a week or more before.

As of today, any item that was delayed that we are aware of that was purchased from mid Feb and onward was finally delivered!

Ultimately there was no lost packages, just significantly delayed. If anyone happens to be still be missing a package that we didn't notice, please give us a call so we can look into it and we will get another out to you as soon as possible.

Again, we just want to appreciate everyone's patience for the very abnormal recent delays by USPS. Things seem to be back to normal, so hopefully this event will be behind us all.

Although I did not purchase any products and therefore was not affected by the delay, your explanation and steps taken to assure product delivery to your customers once again shows what a stand up company HDM is and the dedication of you Eric and Donna and Derick! Thanks again for all you do! Much appreciated!!!!!

Just another unexpected event with Mother Nature. She can be a tough old lady when we cross her.
