funny, i contacted a dealer and the only recall they said was on the 04 ridgeback was the kickstand.... bastartds.
they also said that they cant tell by the vin if the recall was done or not. what kinda crap is that.

ON CERTAIN MOTORCYCLES, THE PISTON IN THE REAR MASTER CYLINDER MAY HAVE BEEN IMPROPERLY SIZED, WHICH COULD CAUSE THE REAR BRAKES TO DRAG OR LOCKUP.
Consequence:
THIS COULD RESULT IN A CRASH.
Remedy:
DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE PISTON FROM THE REAR MASTER CYLINDER AND REPLACE IT WITH A NEW PISTON. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN ON APRIL 12, 2004. OWNERS SHOULD CONTACT BIG DOG AT 1-316-267-9121.

This is very helpfull. Appreciate the info. I've seen the recall posts previously, but just started noticing my rear caliper dragging. I will call them tomorrow & see if my Pit is included.

I've been tyring to research my rear rotor. It's scored pretty good now & I think the grooving might be too deep to resurface. I think it must have been dragging periodically before I bought it. All I can find is a part #, but no manufacturers name.

Anyway, very good info. dude:cheers:

It is just crap like you said, they know they have problems, issues, and a bunch of crappy EHC,s , cam sensors etc. They told me there was no recall on mine either, as I am waiting to replace the EHC with the wire plus AWE......!!!! because it won't start, and unlike the Mc Donalds commercials mine only pushes well on a down hill grade and the kick starter must have been optional.. Awaits the wire plus system from Jake, my scooter collecting dust in the garage,, but that is ok,, I will fix it better. Too hot anyway ,,,

Im waiting for a Wire Plus also. What does the Cam sensor do when it goes bad and what is a better replacement?
