REBUILD QUESTION

Can the 117 cylinders be bored out or are they throw away? If this is like an automotive engine there would be alot of piston sizes available but I can't locate anything just up from 4.125.. is there any places that sells next size up pistons for this rebuild? obviously I don't know yet what size i will need but looking for input from you guys and gals that have been in same situation. Im not looking to get questioned on why this and why that, just seeking advice on my inquiry....

No, two different engines. My understanding is that the 117 is a 124, de-milled with different crank and rods, so to meet emissions.

To answer your question you can get .10 , .20 and .30 over pistons and ring for like 450.00....anything bigger than that then u will have to have the cases machined to clear the piston skirts...which then is a pain in the ass and alot of money...
