I've used shinko tires on a hayabusa for drag racing really sticky and no complaints, I'm going to replace mines also with a shinko. o_O

Avon Cobra 300 - $224 at Dennis Kirk.com, this is my second dog with Avon’s and I’m happy with them. Might try Shinko next time around but I like to stick to what I know.
What u getting for mileage

In the Potters hand...
Not sure, sold the first one with maybe 2500 miles on it and still riding on this one which I bought last summer.

I haven't replaced rear tire yet since I've owned it but I put a Shinko on the front and like it. I will go shinko for rear when time comes

I did a post on here awhile back on the metzlers. IMO I will never go back to them they split right down the middle to the wires. I prefer the Avon’s and will stick with them I have around 8k on my Avon’s now and still have great tread.
Just my 2 pennies,

I've run both Metzler and Avon's. The Metzler cost more and I only got 4500 miles out of both of them. I'm back to Avon's now.

I’m looking at 5000 miles on my current set of Avon’s and they still look pretty good. I’ve always had good experiences with Avon and good mileage out of them so I’ll be sticking with them.

I am on my original Avon (11 years old now) and sitting at just over 7K miles. Won't see too much more before having to throw on the Shinko.

With the price difference and the fact that I've rarely heard anything negative about Shinko I think it is definitely worth trying out. I think you can just about get a new rear and front shinko for the price of a rear avon

I don’t know much about Shinko but if you can’t get the mileage you can with Avon then your paying more
