Rear Tire on 2005 Chopper

New the forum and seriously considering pulling the trigger on a used bike soon. A couple of questions.
* How does the 2005 BD Chopper ride compared to the K9 (handle bar position, etc....

* What is the fattest tire you can squeeze under the fender on a 2005 Chopper without doing any modifictions.

I've got both (wife rides the chop). I'm 5'8" and both bikes are corfortable.

The chopper may be a little more nimble since it has the 250 but it's really very slight. As far as ride quality, both have the same shocks (Works).

The K-9 bars actually come back to you more. The original bars on an 05 chopper make you reach forward about 2" extra. If your tall / have long arms, you would like the 05 Chopper bars. If your short, the longer K-9 bars would be better. The good thing is, its all interchangeable.

My, wife's 5'3" and I put the K-9 bars on the chop & had Seatmaker re-do a seat for her (pushed her forward).

It's all good.
