What is everyone being charged to change a rear tire. I take my old tire and rim to my usual shop. I have them pull off the old tire and put the new tire on. When I get to my garage I mount the rear wheel back on. Wanted to see if I am gettin ripped. Thanks

I brought my rim and tire to a shop and they charged me $30 to put the tire on the rim. I was able to remove the old tire. Took it home and put dynabeads in it for balancing. At the time i thought it was alot but it seems to be the going rate.

Local shop is $30. I did my 300 just a couple weeks back with a set of 3 irons and 3 rim protectors. Turned out to be much easier than I expected so keep that in mind as well.

That may be a little high. Did they balance the tire and wheel for you? If they did it may not be so bad. Last tire I had changed was $50 balanced. They had a tire changer that does not touch the rim. It made it look easy and no damage. Next I may try it myself with tire irons and rim protectors.

I paid $10 at an automobile wheel shop that does the big custom wheels. All his equip had nylon protectors to not damage wheels. The local bike shops wanted 75-100 bucks. HD could only do up to a 240.
