I can't seem to locate a 250 rear tire, can I use a 240 tire in its place?

Where are you looking? There was a big backlog on avons up until a few weeks ago. Most places have them in stock now. Revzilla and J&P cycles both have them.

I use 240s it’s rounder and handles great. Never had an issue. Avon, metzler. Shinko, Dunlop. All great tires never an issue.

Thanks, I don't know how I posted this twice? I broke my belt moving the bike around in the yard, glad it wasn't on the road while riding. Since it will all be apart for the belt I'm going to do the rear tire and the starter at the same time. Along with the push button on the starter.
