As I understand it well it is possible to use a 280 in stead of a 300 on a K9? But doesnt the characteristics of the tire change then?
Does it make riding easyer, taking corners?

The problem with any wide tire in the corners, is the fact that the rear tire won't track with the front tire. Someone new to riding a wide rear tire will notice this immediately, but I doesn't take long to get use to it. Riding these curvy roads here in Missouri, we're use to dragging our pegs, and I find the 300 is easier to lay over, or at least it feels better in the corners than a 250.
A few MM in either direction won't be noticed.
