Hey guys! I threw a read drive belt on my 2004 Mastiff. Got a replacement belt and trying to get the bike to go back into gear so i can lock the transmission in place to get the nut off (reverse thread one) but cannot get it into gear. Am i missing something? Thanks and any other comments about this repair is very welcome!!

Update: I got the primary completely off and rear wheel...how the heck do you get the belt between the frame? I thought i may be able to run it through the pivot but not enough room. Little help. Thanks!

I just thumbed through the manual and it doesn't show it in there. Your going to have to take the shocks loose, then remove the swing arm bolt. It's not an easy job. Get some tape up in between the swing arm and the frame, it's not going to just slide out.

Hey, I have a 2005 Big Dog Bull Dog that I am trying to replace the drive belt on. I am stuck on how to put the swing arm back on because I can't get in to put the connecting rod for the bolts back on. Can you tell me how you were able to do yours?
