I have a 2008 BD Mutt and the machined aluminium piece that holds the brake fluid and the brake pedal hinges on is cracked and i need to find a new or good used one.

Can you post a picture? It might be able to be repaired.

I'm not positive but I think mine was a PM cylinder. You may be able to get the piece/bracket from ebay or one of the bike stores.
