rear brake light adjustment

Is there any adjustment on the rear brake caliper brake switch? have to push peg down a lot before brake light ever comes on. I cant find any adjustment at the foot controls but see where the wiring connects at the banjo. Gonna take it off and see if there is any adjustment but before I do thought id ask before having to refill and bleed the whole rear brake system

You may just have a bad switch.

No adjustment unfortunately.
Not like the hand lever adjustment.
May sound stupid but do you need to bleed the rear brakes?

Maybe you need some new pads, how do they look? Check fluid level

Its a pressure swtich thats set on them already so no adjustment.

IF your havign to put that much peddle to get them to come on then

Do you have to use that much peddle to get brakes to grab? if so, new pads, and bleed brakes.

If the brakes are working WAY before the light will come on, get a new switch.

I hope when you add fluid your using DOT 5 brake fluid. If not that could be your problem. DOT 3 and DOT 5 don't go well together, our bikes use DOT 5... Just saying
