rear brake actuator rod needed

I just replaced my rear tire and took bike for a ride. I pushed lever for rear brake and pads in rear caliper must not have been seated. I pulled lever back with my foot and actuator rod between fluid reservoir and brake lever fell out. I lost the piece. Does anyone have one or know length and diameter of rod? It appears like it should have rounded ends and be approximately 1 1/2 long.

I will warn you ahead of time this will not be of much help. In the 08 service manual it describes that part as a pushrod for the master cylinder. It doesn't provide length or diameter. Although it does show that the handlebar control master cylinder assembly for the front brake has the same pushrod. I guess as a last resort you can take the front brake master cylinder apart if you need to measure it. It appears on both of the pushrods that the ends are rounded and each one has two grooves going around it. Sorry wish I could help you better. Give Performance Machine a call. They make the brake, they may be able to help you with the master cylinder parts. Good luck.
