Had mine done by SuperMax. Liked being able to keep the original pulley that matches the rear wheel. Works great! Squealing, chirping noises are gone.

Why do these things squeal so much? Never happened to me before. Are they too narrow? Had to stop at a 7-11 yesterday and buy a bar of soap it was driving me crazy.

When the pulley teeth start wearing out you start getting noise. Soap, lanolin, belt dressing, etc. will only provide a temporary fix plus these lubricants attract dirt.

I had mine done about 25,000 miles ago and it still looks like new. I would recommend them to any one who rides a lot or plans on keeping the Dog for several years

Did they keep your inner sprocket cover ring on the rebuild?

What was the cost and time to get it done?

Yes, they kept the inner sprocket cover ring. Had mine done a little over a year ago and it cost $575 including shipping/insurance. Turn around time was about a week but you need to call them to schedule.

Wearing out at 6k miles????? Hell, I had to replace my other one on my custom built bike at 180k because the teeth got sharp but it never squealed.... and it cost me $135. Another BD POS part....
