Rear Axle

Ok, here's a silly question.

Is there any reason that I can flip my rear axle on my K-9 so that the bolt in on the right side and I can pull the axle out the left side (so I don't have to take off the exhaust?)?

It should work either way.

What about the bed for the flat spots on the axle. Manual shows all entering from the right side.

Bigdogpartsking will probably have the quick answer for you. Seems like he has done just about everything to these bikes.

It will go in either way

Not doubting it but for some reason it appears that they all enter from right side according to the manual.

Correction: manual shows the wolf entering from the left side??? 09 manual

Don't see any reason why not...do it on Harleys all the time for the same reason
