Will be riding this friday on a four hour ride from Houston to Lake LBJ. Am a bit nervous but DAMN EXCITING. Why nervous?? EHC is still in my bike (no wire plus yet). Hey Ray, any advise since you put alot of miles on your bike like maybe do a check up list or so. Any advise is greatly appreciated Bro!!

Dude can't worry about the EHC just go ride! Rode 7 hours (2 in the rain :bang:) yesterday with BDM EHC no issues Be safe.

I agree. I just crossed 11,000 EHC trouble free miles....

my buddy has over 20000miles and only just started to have a problem and his other dog still has no problems with the ehc , hide hard and have fun . I am jumping onto my nightrain and going for a ride now after watching those videos ......thanks Ray

Your more likely to get a flat than have EHC problems.

Before and after all my long trips I pretty much strip my bike down and put it back together. Always done this and only issues I ever had on the road besides a blow out on the rear tire is dead batteries. I've been replacing battery every 8 to 12 months. Don't seem to get much out of them as long as some of you.

:2thumbs: Absolutely 100% correct. Most have not had EHC problems so why worry. Give her the once over, admire her looks, crank her up, fill her up, and enjoy her all the way. You will be way more distracted by people taking your picture, asking if you built her, wanting to sit on her, and waving like crazy. You're lucky to have her!
