RE WIRING TAG LIGHT

I have a new tag light and wire. Can anyone tell me how the wire is routed along the frame , and where it ends ? As well as what is involved in replacing ie removal of fenders or side covers . Thanks in advance for the help .

It runs up the swingarm through a small tube and into the batt box, to get it out you have to release the JST connector pins from the plastic holder and then you can slide the wires out of the tube.

If you look up under the swingarm rail you can see the small tube the wires are in.

You can cut the old one at the JST and the new one comes with the JST not connected so you can run the wires up that tube.

The only catch is make sure you mount the LED into the tag light assembly first before running the wire up the tube. Reason being the LED board won't fit through the hole of the tag light. So you'll be starting over again.

It's easy will only take 20 min

When you pull the old wire out of the tube, attach a string to them so you can use the string to pull the new wires back thru the tube while your pushing them in the tube.

You don't need too the wires are in a plastic hard case it's only about 20" of tube

I just bought the last one they had I know at lest one bulb is out on mine the new one will go in spare parts bin

The last one on eBay? Or they say that is all their stock.

All 4 bulbs on the board were flickering... I had a constant +12v at the board and I looked over the board and didn't see any issues. I would have rather tried resoldering it but I just couldn't see what was wrong so chucked it in the trash. Plugged in the new one and worked like a charm.

Called Donna last week twice left VM never heard back . Needed a part had to go elsewhere and probably ended up paying more too.

I called donna on Monday and left message, she called me back that afternoon. Ordered a whole tag mount {the original} and it was at my door Thursday Morning. She did say she was sick for a few days and was catching up. So try again.

Mine is flickering as well. Just got the assembly from Donna on Thursday so not sure if they are out of them. Glad to hear the new one solved the problem for you and hope it does the same for me.
