Thanks Paul. Rough ride today fighting rainstorms, wind, tornadoes and cold. Only made it to just outside Ft Smith, AR then called it a day. I was soaked and cold and weather ahead of me was just getting worse. Tomorrow its supposed to clear and warm so maybe I can do the rest of the 1000 miles in one shot. Bike is running good and rain hasn't affected new wiring system at all. Was running at 80 but cold and wet had me pulling over to much. Need to get south and warm up some.

And yes I did run out of gas and had to break out my spare can. Pushing it to hard I guess! :)

Well I made it across Arkansas today fighting horrendous side winds in 40-50 degree weather all day. Made it through Memphis and headed south on US 78 through Mississippi. Was hoping to make it to Birmingham but the sun settled on me when I got to Tupelo, MS. So grabbed a hotel and will try to do the rest of the trip tomorrow. Local weather forecast says it will be 39 degrees at 6 am and feel like 33. Bike still running good although I've developed an oil leak that seems to be from the oil gauge/pressure switch fitting. Not a real problem and will fix it later. All leathered out today and still cold. Guess I'm getting old! Where is that electric clothing? Hope to get across Alabama and intò Florida tomorrow. Hope you are all having as much fun. Racking the miles up

Geeze sorry to hear about the crappy weather Ray. I thought you southern boys were enjoying the nice warm weather WTF? It was in the 70's here today. I didn't get as many miles as I would have liked to today due to a phone interview for a job.
Be safe Ray I know how riding in the rain and cold is not much fun...:(:(

I made it home today. Almost 12 hours in the saddle and almost 600 miles today. Bike ran great with no issues. But it was a long cold wet trip. Want to thank Paul for all his help and Mike to. Will update PDM install in next couple days. Man I'm getting to old for these long trips :)
