I am writing this on behalf of our Spaniard friend Rafa as his English is not the best...

The story is: he washed his 07 K9 with pressurized water and right after that:

WITHOUT THE KEY:
1. ECH lights are up like a xmas tree...
2. Right indicator stays on...

TURNING THE KEY:
1. NADA! it makes no difference turning the key or not, it does nothing and and the EHC and Right Indicator stays on.

I must admit I've done the same mistake once and I fixed it taking the battery off and drying everything with my wifes hair dryer :D

Any inputs from you guys will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

The best I can tell ya is as you said dry everything out. I would start with compressed dry air into the key switch and behind it as well as blowing out the hand controls. ( i got caught in heavy rain and water in the hand contols made the oil pressure light come on). Start with the simple exposed things first then the more complicated. Where ever water has gotten it will take longer to dry out than it did to get in. May have to pull the EHC connectors, dry, and add die-electric grease and re-install. On mine I never washed anything about the tank with a water hose. Controls, speedo etc. got cleaned with glass cleaner and a hand cloth.

Already noticed, I removed the battery and hair dryer I dried everything and now it all goes well, Thank you very much Francoblay1, V and Brew
