From experience, your best bet is to call and place the order over the phone. Ask them for everything you will need, including the heat shields – they are optional. Just to share an experience with you: I had an issue with the bonehead who made my bracket and mounted the pipes. They misjudged the mounting distance from the frame which resulted in a small defect in the paint due to pipe vibration. Also, I later found out that the pipes were actually in a bind from being misaligned.

These pipes look and sound good. When I was doing my build I thought I “had to have them” because of what I read. The end result is there is nothing magical about them. The customer service is the shittiest you will ever experience and if you place your order now, you might have them by Christmas, seriously. I cannot say that these pipes perform significantly better than any other pipe I have had. To be fair when I received them, the quality and chrome were great.

You'll definitely need the mounting brackets. My friend works for RB Racing and he told me that they're swamped with orders. Bob currently has over 50 pipes waiting to go out for chrome and has many more orders to fill. Current wait time is 10-12 weeks.

edit: he told me 10-12 weeks last Sunday. If you find out any different, please inform me so I don't give people misleading information.

Depends what you want in a pipe. R&B Racing 2-1 pipes are excellent pipes and perform well. Outstanding quality as well...
I had them cut the slash with my swingarm which is kinda against how they do things but it looks great on the bike. Someone else did that too which gave me the idea to ask..
Heat shields are extra, you need them. Gaskets are for life on the heads.
I made my own bracket and powder coated it. Bend a piece of clothes hanger to get a template and then welded one up. stock brackets seem to break on my bike for some reason..:D
Call them and talk to them and then make your decision.
I like what I have..

They are a aircraft grade aluminum spacer they use on the head pipes..
Slides right in and they don't leak.
