Here is a quick job I did for a local guy. It had several rock chips in the leading parts, as he lives on a gravel road. He decided to go further that just repair and repaint. So he had me add the traditional ghost flames (the kind that disappear) in charcoal pearl, and some von-dutch pinstriping in grey and silver. This wasn't my usual high-end, show-bike clear coat, but it still came out pretty sharp.
This was about a $1500 job. It took about two weeks (in between other jobs). Enjoy!

I really like the ghost flames. Are the parts black?

have you done much with metal flake? and do you have any pics?

Yes, the parts are black.
Yes, I have worked with metal flake.
No, I don't really have any pictures that come to mind.
I have to do a couple of skate board decks soon to be used as trophies at a truck show. I plan on doing some old-skool flake, kandies, gold/silver leaf and alot of von-dutch pinstriping on one of them. It will be for "Best Paint". The other one will (of course) be some mad, sick airbrushing. It will be for "Best Graphics/Artwork".
Anyway, I'll post pics when I do 'em.

I love doing the quick stuff. It gives me a break from the labor intensive stuff. And it's quick money too!

Just got a call from the client today. Seems they went to the carwash after they showed off their new paint job this weekend... Dropped the bike!
Luckily the only damage was a scuffed-up saddle bag. $$ Repair $$!
Oh well, shit happens!
